Acceptance of these terms
By using https://manipuricalendarwebai.vercel.app (“the Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. We may update these terms from time to time (see “Changes” below); continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
What the Site is
Manipuri Calendar is a free, informational reference for the Manipuri (Meetei) lunisolar calendar -- Meetei Mayek/Bengali/English dates, tithi, nakshatra, sunrise/sunset and moonrise/moonset timings, festivals and holidays, and a general daily horoscope. It is a personal/independent project, not an official government, religious, or astrological authority.
Informational purposes only -- please verify independently
Panchang details (tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana), muhurat-style timing windows, festival/holiday dates, and horoscope predictions shown on the Site are provided for general informational and cultural reference only. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified priest, astrologer, or community elder, and should not be relied on as the sole basis for religious observances, ceremonies, travel, medical, financial, legal, or other important decisions. Local/community observance of a date can vary by region and tradition -- when a date matters (a wedding, a ceremony, a public holiday for work/school purposes), please confirm it with a local authority or community source before relying on it.
No warranty
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Astronomical and calendrical calculations, while sourced and computed in good faith, can contain errors; we don't guarantee the Site is error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manipuri Calendar and its operator will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content -- including reliance on any date, timing, or prediction shown on it.
Third-party links and services
The Site links to third-party services (app store listings, an external app download page) and calls a third-party horoscope API on your behalf when you request a prediction. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site or service you reach from a link on the Site.
Intellectual property
The Site's design, layout, and code belong to its operator. Calendar/panchang data is sourced from third-party almanac providers for informational display; we don't claim original authorship of the underlying astronomical calculations. Please don't scrape, systematically republish, or redistribute the Site's content at scale without permission -- reach out (see Contact) if you'd like to use it beyond normal personal browsing.
Acceptable use
Please don't use the Site to attempt to disrupt or overload it, probe or bypass its security, or access it by any means other than the interface and APIs we provide.
Changes
We may update these Terms or the Site's features at any time. Material changes will update the “last updated” date above.
Governing law
We don't designate a specific country or court as exclusively governing these Terms. If any provision here is found unenforceable under the law of your jurisdiction, the rest of these Terms remain in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be read to achieve its intent to the extent the law allows.
